VICTORIAN BRANCH – Movie and Meal Day – Wednesday 16th May 2018

Our second function for the year will be our 1st Movie & Meal day for the year, this time at the NEW VENUE of Hoyts Chadstone.

In the National Survey last year a large number of members said they wanted to go to the movies with their fellow members and enjoy some time with them such as a meal and a drink. We have run 3 of these last year in the city thinking public transport to a central location would be a good idea but they only had small numbers but we did hear that a number of members made their own way to Chadstone preferring instead to drive and park their own cars and then had something to eat before seeing a movie upstairs at Hoyts. Since more people ended up at Chadstone, we will persist with the outings there instead of the city and hopefully more members will attend.
